A structured learning programme, which must be undertaken whilst in employment. Training leads to a National Vocational Qualification Level III in the chosen subject. As well as the compulsory units, the Advanced Apprentice may also cover a Technical Certificate and Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number to approximately A Level standard.
